Tygart is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to provide direct support to a Department of Justice (DoJ) customer. The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of technical acumen and program support, overseeing responsibilities across the following units:
- National Strategic Partnership and Coordination Unit
- Executive Liaison, Strategy, and Communications Unit
- Information Sharing and Analysis Unit
A current Top Secret security clearance is required for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Lead full project lifecycles—from concept to deployment and ongoing support.
- Design and develop enterprise-class websites and information systems.
- Build innovative solutions within existing system, network, and policy constraints.
- Collaborate with Data Scientists and Data Engineers to integrate new features into existing platforms.
- Research, test, and apply emerging technologies such as Leaflet.js, Vue.js, d3.js, Map-Reduce, document stores, graph databases, RDF triplestores, etc.
Required Qualifications:
- Active Top Secret security clearance
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 13 years of relevant professional experience
- Strong background as a data engineer using technologies such as: MS SQL, T-SQL, Entity Framework, REST APIs, XML/JSON
- Proficiency in web development using: ASP.NET / C# (.NET Framework 4.5, MVC) Java (or comparable experience)
- Expert-level JavaScript knowledge: React preferred Experience with jQuery or Angular (or comparable frameworks)
- Experience with software integration, including build, installation, and deployment
- Familiarity with both greenfield development and legacy system modernization Agile/Scrum development experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
