Informatica Adminstrator
Washington, DCTygart is seeking an Informatica Administrator to support a federal agency in Washington, DC. This role requires expertise to patch and upgrade the agency’s Informatica servers and maintain, modify and create new mappings. A Public Trust clearance will be required.
This is a remote position; however, travel to Washington, DC will be required. Part-time opportunities are also available.

Key Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Serve as the agency Point of Contact (POC) for all matters involving the informatica platform
- Administer and maintain Informatica PowerCenter environments, ensuring optimal performance and availability
- Monitor ETL processes, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to enhance data processing efficiency
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and developers to design and implement data integration solutions
- Manage user access and security settings within Informatica, ensuring compliance with agency policies
- Conduct regular system audits and performance tuning to ensure high availability and reliability of ETL processes
- Provide technical support and training to team members on Informatica best practices and functionalities
- Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for future reference
- Stay updated with the latest Informatica features and industry trends to recommend improvements
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from an accredited institution
- Must have both Informatica development and Admin experience
- The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Informatica Administration, with a proven track record of managing and optimizing ETL processes
- Over 7-10 years of experience with min 5+ years of hands-on experience in ETL development with Informatica
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in development, maintenance, and enhancements of Informatica Mappings, Workflows, and processes
- Experience patching Informatica servers, and performing version upgrades
- Experience working with complex SQL
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization of Informatica workflows
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools
- Certifications in Informatica or related technologies
