Data and Communication Analyst

Tygart is seeking a Data and Communication Analyst to join our team supporting a Department of Justice (DOJ) client in Clarksburg, WV. An active Top Secret security clearance is required.

The position requires a strong combination of analytical skills, written and verbal communication abilities, attention to detail, and an understanding of content management, accessibility, and copyright requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze data and information from multiple sources to develop reports, summaries, and actionable recommendations.
  • Develop data visualizations, presentations, executive briefs, white papers, and other communication materials.
  • Create, maintain, and publish content for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain IT project and program documentation.
  • Collect, organize, manage, and maintain data across databases, spreadsheets, and other information systems.
  • Conduct research, assessments, and data collection to support business and program requirements.
  • Participate in ad hoc data analysis projects and initiatives.
  • Ensure data and content are accurate, complete, properly formatted, and accessible.
  • Translate complex technical and analytical information into clear, concise communications for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Support content management and development activities, including adherence to copyright requirements.
  • Ensure applicable digital content and communications comply with Section 508 accessibility requirements.
  • Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to gather information and deliver high-quality analytical and communication products.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in data analysis and data visualization.
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to develop clear, accurate, and actionable analytical and communication products.
  • Experience with content development and content management.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze information from multiple sources.
  • Knowledge of copyright procedures and applicable laws.
  • Familiarity with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 requirements and accessibility standards.
  • Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
