Tygart Technology, Inc., a leading provider of enterprise-grade video and photographic forensic analysis and biometric recognition systems, is looking for software engineers to join our elite software development and support team. Tygart provides the U.S. Military, Intelligence Community and Law Enforcement markets with innovative software solutions which manage and automate the processing and analysis of massive volumes of digital video and photograph collections. Tygart’s commercial product, called MXSERVER™, is a cloud-based system which applies cutting edge Artificial Intelligence (AI) algorithms to process video and photo collections into biometrically (face) searchable resources. Tygart has openings in West Virginia and the National Capital Region for software engineers who specialize in the development of web services in the C# .NET environment. This position will entail operations, maintenance and enhancement support of an MXSERVER System in a production environment.

General Experience: Candidates must have 5-15 years’ experience performing object-oriented software design, programming, database development/administration, quality assurance, unit testing, troubleshooting and bug fixing. Experience monitoring and ensuring the health and operation of a production system in a virtualize computing environment is highly desirable. Experience coordinating with end-users and IT infrastructure support personnel is desirable. Experience following Configuration Management procedures and configuring systems to operate within Information Assurance (IA) specifications/guidelines is desirable.

Specific Experience: Candidates must have several years designing and developing production-ready web-deployed and desktop applications using C# .NET and SQL Server technologies. Several years’ experience designing and developing biometric recognition and video analytic applications/services that manage, organize, convert, edit, process, and distribute/deliver digital multimedia content (video, audio, and photographs) is highly desirable. Integration or development of object recognition algorithms and third-party video analysis components a plus.

Technical Skills: Specific experience with ASP.NET, C#, XML, XSLT, XSD, SOAP based and RESTful web services, Microsoft C/C++, SQL Server 2016/2019, VMWare VCenter, MS HyperV, Amazon AMI, and AWS infrastructure technologies.

Minimum Education: A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in engineering, computer science, management information systems, mathematics, or business discipline preferred.

Professional Certifications: Certifications desired include Security+, Server+, Microsoft Certified Engineer or equivalent are desirable.

Security Clearance: Secret clearance required
