Technical Recruiter

Tygart is seeking a Technical Recruiter. The Technical Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, screening and interviewing candidates from both internal and external sources ensuring that recruiting practices comply with Federal guidelines. The Technical Recruiter will coordinate all phases of the candidate lifecycle providing leadership, coaching and feedback to hiring managers to effectively to meet acquisition objectives. The Technical Recruiter will be expected to regularly consult at the VP level on talent acquisition strategies. The successful candidate must demonstrate a history of delivering high quality IT-focused professionals with all levels of Security Clearance for Federal government information technology contracts.
This position can be fully remote, and either on a part-time or full-time basis.
  • Consults with executive management on staffing needs for key professional positions to identify position descriptions, potential applicants, and interview requirements.
  • Collaborate with hiring manager to create/improve position descriptions to accurately reflect position requirements.
  • Conduct reference checks and assist in evaluating applicant qualifications for the selection of the best qualified candidates.
  • Assist in the preparation and negotiation of job offer packages to successful candidate.
  • Leverage recruiting resources including online, networking, and cold calling to identify and source qualified candidates for various information technology and management positions.
  • Manage talent acquisition sources for applicants using internal application tracking system, internet sourcing, employee referral program, job fairs, and other sources.
  • Manage relationships with search firms, employment agencies, and other recruiting sources to facilitate applicant tracking and database tracking.
  • Review resumes and credentials for appropriate skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements.
  • Qualify potential candidates, including candidate coordination and communication tracking.
  • Coordinates the logistics of all interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Maintain documentation on candidates and recruiting activities in compliance with company standards.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience
  • 5+ years’ experience working with recruiting techniques and employment policies and procedures
  • Experience using with recruiting tools, applications, and other resources supporting talent acquisition
  • Experience interacting with senior management and employees on closing candidates for technical and management position
  • Established interviewing skills for candidate rapport to gathering information for hiring decisions
  • Good ability to maintain high level of confidentiality regarding employee information
