Web Application Developer (.Net)

Tygart is currently seeking a Web Application Developer (.NET) to provide development, maintenance, and administration of web applications and services supporting a Department of Justice (DoJ) organization. The successful candidate will have experience developing web-based applications in .NET This position requires that the candidate have a current Top Secret security clearance, with SCI eligibility.

Responsibilities include:  
  • Support the full software development life cycle including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, integration, and deployment.
  • Develop new web pages, enhancements, new functionalities and reports, ensuring application consistency with required updates to the database schema as a result of new needs and capabilities. 
  • Maintain the website application using best practices and standard web development methodologies based on .NET frameworks
  • Work collaboratively in a team environment.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer
  • Five (5) years of work experience as a .NET application developer
  • Development experience using the following: .NET Framework/Core, Oracle, C#, SQL, Javascript/JQuery, Web API (SOAP and REST), HTML/CSS , SharePoint, Python
  • Experience using the following tools and utilities: MS Visual Studio, MS Project and Visio, R Studio
  • Knowledge of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) implementations
  • Must be able to well under pressure, and possess excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as excellent organizational skills.
