Tygart is currently seeking a DevOps Subject Matter Expert to support a Department of Justice (DOJ) component. This is an onsite position in Clarksburg, WV and requires that the candidate have a current Top Secret security clearance.

Primary Responsibilities:

The DevOps Subject Matter Expert shall conduct expert level development and engineering analysis of IT projects managed by the ITMS. This support shall include, but not limited to:

• Expertise and support on system development methodologies and best practices

• Develop operations of large-scale IT projects; agile development strategies

• Perform analysis and effectiveness of CJIS development processes.

• Implement plans for new processes.

• Analyze of network, computing, storage, and software solutions for the CJIS SoS.

Qualifications:

• Possess a current Top Secret security clearance.

• Possess a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent related experience.

• A minimum of 8 years of experience with software development and delivery processes emphasizing communication and collaboration between product management, software development, and operations personnel.

• Desired Qualifications

• Cloud expertise related to cloud resource planning and provisioning.

• Experience with platform as a service (PaaS).

• Experience in “componentized” applications for easier management and orchestration.

• Must have superior verbal and written communication skills.

• Must have excellent analytical, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
