Tygart is currently seeking a Senior System Administrator to support a Department of Justice (DOJ) component. This is a remote position with some travel to WV. This position requires a current Secret Security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems.
• System administrator will ensure the uptime, performance, resources, and security of the computers they manage meet the needs of the users.
• Primary responsibility is the operations and maintenance of the legacy NCIC mainframe (IBM z14) infrastructure, compute, and storage platform.
• Installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and maintenance of zOS operating system, CICS, DB2 Relational Database Management System, IBM Products and Utilities, CA/Broadcom tools, BMC Product Suite.
• System monitoring and reporting.
• Performance monitoring, analysis and tuning.
• Pervasive Encryption.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with 8 years of related work experience.
• Active Secret Security clearance.
• Experience with IBM z 14 Experience with CICS required
• Experience with zOS operating system, DB2 Relational Database Management System, IBM
